Jacobson Glass Studio

The bull ding is down

David JacobsonComment

We've lowered the building now that the concrete floor is dry. Wow. What a beautiful it is, too. Joe Thornley and crew did a magnificent job.The finish is so smooth, the floor actually has a sheen to it.
I put our initials in the corner of the studio for posterity. So that 30 years from now when the new people are living there, they can ask 'who renovated this magnificent space?' And they will be able to see our initials and then thank is.
Next up, we start work on the inside. I'm ordering the supplies tomorrow, lot of wood. We have to shore up the rafters. That is job one. Then we can deal with other stuff. Lots of fun. Here we go.
